#About the Big Performance in Bangkok

Siam Niramit is a big tourist complex, a huge replica of a traditional Thai village, which will introduce you to the Thai kingdom. The Thai village is built in a typical waterway, and lets you be a part of the life of the village, as they are lived in Thailand's four regions.

During your visit you see a folk dancing performance, showcasing Thai traditions. This visual and musical performance is amazing, performed on a big stage, 65 by 40 meters, in a big auditorium with 2,000 seats. At the end of every show dinner is served.

This is one of the most impressive products you can find. This show really brings forth the best artists and culture in Thailand. The show includes set designs and new and modern special effects. There are over 100 actors and artists, dressed in the best and more impressive costumes. During the impressive and breathtaking show, more than 500 costumes and props are used.

As befits the culture and tradition of Thailand, the show features stunning visions, featuring a variety of actors, in colorful costumes. It also has flying dancers, boats sailing on the stage and impressive and colorful elephants. All sets in the backdrop are of tropical forests, or skies full of angels hovering above. These are just some of the charms, which the show is full of.



#Tips

The cost of a ticket is 1,000 Baht per child, and a little more per adult. Dinner costs about 250 Baht with a kid's discount.

You can get here traditional Thai massages, and there is a souvenir shop.

The show starts at 8:00 pm and is about 80 minutes long.

#About the Cabaret Show by Men Who Became Women

For many years, the "Calypso Cabaret" was the most famous cabaret show in Bangkok.

The birth of this cabaret in the late 1980's. It features "Lady Boys," former men who changed their sex to women. The "Calypso Cabaret" is held in the "Asian" complex, at the Asia Hotel in central Bangkok.
The cabaret here does not match the Western standards but is entertaining and full of dubbing of Western and Asian songs. The attractions are, of course, the Lady Boys that appear in the show, and they ensure that at the end of the show you can take a photo with them, and remember to give them a tip.

This cabaret is not a cabaret in the German or American style, but more like a musical that includes a little theater, a little music and a lot of choreographed dances. The ladyboys participating here, wearing spectacular costumes and providing good entertainment, in a fun and nice show with the fun and humor of songs. Beautiful scenery surrounds the show and provides a pretty enjoyable evening for those who connect with this type of entertainment.



#Tips

The show has no sexual aspect and it is possible to bring in children.

By pre-booking on the site 48 hours before the show, visitors will get a nice discount.

The show is located in Warehouse 3 of the Asiatik complex. If visitors buy tickets at a travel agency, make sure to get free hotel pick up and return.

The show performs twice an evening, at 8:15 pm and 9:45 pm.

Near the cabaret complex is "Asiatik" - a spectacular night market, worth visiting and spending time at the end of the show.

#About the Bar with the View of Bangkok

The Dome, at the top of the State Tower, is where the restaurants and bars of the State Tower are, located on the river banks and overlooks the city view.

On the 63rd floor of the tall tower, on the southern end of the Silom Road, you can find the Sky Bar, one of the largest bars in the world without a roof.

There is a luxury restaurant here called Sirocco, and from here you can see a panoramic 270-degree view of the whole city around you, the skyscrapers and river that divides the city. This is the tallest restaurant in Bangkok.



#Tips

For a table, you must book in advance (Phone number: 66-2-624-9555). No need to reserve places for the bar. Prices at Sirocco are expensive, and the Sky Bar prices are reasonable.

You must come to the Dome in proper dress.

#About the Backpacker Road in Bangkok

Imagine a short street crowded with taxis and tuk-tuks, which are a kind of three-wheeled taxis, lots of billboards and backpackers moving on their way to their guesthouses. This is not India - it is Khao San, or Kawasan, a short street in the center of Bangkok, which is the backpacker center of the city.

Its convenient location, in the district of Bangalampu, about a kilometer from the King's Palace, makes Kao San the perfect place in Bangkok for cheap accommodation. That's why this is Bangkok's bustling backpacker center. Those who stay here are usually traveling on a tight budget, and love the endless activity 24 hours a day, when there is always something happening here.

But even for those who do not sleep here, it is worth visiting this lively and young street and experiencing the shock of the guesthouses, hostels, along with an unbelievable abundance of food stalls, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops for everything possible, women wearing braided hair or dreadlocks and Thai massage facilities.

Beyond the cheap lodging neighborhood, many here will note that the word "Khao-san" has long become a kind of mantra in backpackers in Thailand. For many of them this is a kind of paradise for backpackers, and no less. This street is an open center for young people, artists, art students, tourists with backpacks and young people from Bangkok who come here to listen to music, drink and dance in clubs along the street.

Incidentally, in Thai "Khao San" means "delicate rice." Here was once the central rice market of Bangkok. The Emporium is one of Bangkok's luxury malls. It is located in Sukhumvit, and offers six floors with everything you can buy with money, but with an emphasis on high quality and expensive products.

The elegant and rich atmosphere here is a must. Everything is sparkle clean, there are no bargaining here or acting wild.

To the Emporium, since it's attached to the train station, is easy to get to, through a pedestrian bridge. A visit here does not have to end with endless shopping bags as in other popular shopping areas, but is still a must visit.

The different floors at the malls are divided by categories:

Floor 1 - Mostly international luxury brands, such as Dior, Mont Blanc, Prada, Channel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Hermes.

Floors 1 & 2 - International popular brands that are more economical, such as H&M, Calvin Klein, Diesel, Paul Smith, Zara, and Armani.

Floor 3 - Consumer goods, such as bookstores, gadget stores, computers and electronics, office supplies, and sporting equipment.

Floor 4 - Expensive decorating products, boutique design shops, lighting products, luxury furniture and high-class home cookware - all designer.

Floor 5 - Luxury food court, expensive and high quality.

Floor 6 - Design bookstores, performance center, high-tech movie theater with temporary exhibits with free entrance.

The Emporium also has a large supermarket, has a section in each of the six floors. There are clothes, shoes, cosmetics, furniture and design. Here you can find all the high-end cosmetic brands, such as Lancome, Estee Lauder and MAC.



#Tips

At the Emporium, as opposed to markets and the MBK, it's not customary to bargain.

In the Emporium is an excellent food court, of the best in the city.

#About Bangkok's Luxury Mall

Siam Paragon Mall is one of the largest and most luxurious shopping malls in Bangkok, Thailand and Asia. It is located in a central spot in the city, facing the intersection of the stations of the two lines of the Skytrain, making it the center of Bangkok. This is a shopping mall where those who can afford shop, and tourists visiting the city.

The mall has fashion stores of world-class designers, alongside fashion houses and leading international brands, from Dior, and Prada, to Zara and Mango.

The mall also offers a variety of shops, restaurants, 15 movie theaters, an aquarium and an underwater observatory, one of the most impressive in East Asia, an opera house and the flagship store of Ferrari cars in Thailand.



#What is at the Mall?

The first impressive floor is all fashion stores. There are flagship stores for all the fashion icons and leaders of the fashion industry, like Dior, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Versace, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Rolex, Burberry, and Marc Jacobs. Notice the big fountain out front, a popular photo spot.

On the first floor, which is also dedicated to fashion, there are international fashion brands, very popular and less expensive than the prestigious entrance. Here are notable brands such as Gap, Armani, H & M, Zara, Mango, Hugo Boss and others.

On the second and third floors are leisure and lifestyle stores. Here you will meet a variety of beauty shops, cosmetics and hair styling. Alongside them are design stores, furniture, technology products and showrooms for luxury cars such as Ferrari.

On the fourth floor is the restaurant complex, with the floor centering a variety of computer and technology stores, of Bangkok's quality. Even if it is possible to buy cheaper computer equipment in other malls in Bangkok, here they are careful about the quality of the products, the service and the professional advice, so that they will not sell you anything fake. On the floor are also fabric stores, textiles and handicrafts, alongside souvenirs, essential oils and more.

On the fifth floor, the entertainment floor, there are 15 movie theaters. Some offer huge screens, one of the largest in Asia. Twice a year are end of the season sales. Try shopping during these times.

On the second store is a huge spice store, where you can buy spices from all over the world.

Asiatique The Riverfront is a great and beloved night market for the whole family. The market opens every afternoon, towards the evening.
