About Paris's Flea MarketThe Montreuil Flea Market (Marche aux Puces de Montreuil) is a flea market in Montreuil and contains endless amounts of junk and second hand items. It is only one among three big flea markets in Paris, and here you can find cheaper products than are sold at the other two.
There are shoes, bags, books, videos, lamps, furniture from all time periods. However this market is not for tourists, but for Paris's low-income residents. The prices are low here, and usually the product quality is low as well. It is sometimes hard to believe that someone will buy the majority of the products that are for sale here.
TipsThe market is open from Saturday to Monday between 7 am and 7 pm.
The best finds are found in the morning on Saturdays, on the market's first open day of the week. The cheapest prices however, you will find on Mondays, when the market is near closing.
As in every flea market, if you arrive at an early hour, you will be able to find real rare finds. Bonne chance!
