Actually, this is the 8th section of the longer Hong Kong Trail. The hike of Dragon's Back gives great viewpoints of the city from different and interesting points. On one side you will see the large skyscrapers, which you will be looking down to. On the other side, you will see the panoramic view of the Hong Kong beach line.
The hike is highly recommended. The walk is through a green mountain range, whose shape reminds the back of a dragon, and from here its name. While on the walk you will see breathtaking views of the surrounding bays and the forest-covered mountains. You can combine your hike with a visit to the picturesque village Shek-O, or Big Wave beach nearby.
The length of the hike is about 3 hours.
If you arrive in Stanely Village you can combine the walk either on your way there or back.
At the end of the trail return to the train station and from there to your hotel.
