It may be off that not far away from the museum is the famous Madame Tussauds, that has almost the same content. However, in Hollywood, there is a place for stars everywhere, even if it is a little repetitive.
Here you can see figures made from the wax of famous personalities from around the world, and to differentiate from Madame Tussauds - here you can see only Hollywood stars, real celebrities. Exact and precise work has brought about the recreation of hundreds of known stars - Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, George Clooney, and more. There are about 220 wax figures of the world stage, those loved from the cinema world.
The museum was opened in 1965 by the entrepreneur Spoony Singh, and is the oldest wax museum in the United States. Even after Singh's retirement, the Hollywood's wax tradition was maintained by his sons and grandchildren, who continue to uphold the museum. In 2012 the family was declared as Hollywood heroes by the Hollywood Trade Commerce, for the generous support and contribution to the Hollywood community. The different wax figures here continue to change and adapt today.
