The Archeology Museum in Nessebar was established in 1994, as an exhibit that was in the John of Baptist church since 1956. It is located in a building that was planned specifically for this purpose, by the architect Hristo Koev.
Among the findings in the museum, you can see a proclamation from the days of The Thracian Sadat, estimated to be from the 3rd century AD.
In addition, you will see many historical items from the rich ancient cities of the Middle Ages, Nessebar and Mesambria. Among them are ancient gold coins called "Tetradrachms."
