The special park is 5 kilometers in length, along the Burgas seafront, with pretty views and good air. In the wonderful park, you will see views of trees, fountains, sitting corners, flower beds, modern statues, and nice cafes.
The park is a great place for walking or running. Couples will find a quiet and secluded places to walk around the stretches along the Black Sea.
Those interested in the beach can walk down there, or watch the pretty views that can be seen, from the steps leading to the beach and the promenade that overlooks it.
With children, a waterfront park is a great place for entertainment. The park has lawns, great for picnics, games, family fun, as well as just sitting and watching the view.
The beach along the park is divided into two by a small pier, nicknamed "the bridge." On the pier, that continues into the sea, you can walk and enjoy the breeze. From both sides, the "old beach" and "central beach," there is no real difference. On the promenade itself, you can choose from a few pubs and bars for entertainment.
Among the fountains and the lawns you will see the many sculptures in the park. Most of them are historical figures that are prominent in Burgas, and Bulgaria in general. Among the sculptures, try to find one of author Alexander Pushkin.
In the park there is a dance center, near a summer theater, that holds performances and concerts. Nearby there is also a small zoo and maritime casino, that holds lots of different cultural events.
For children 10 years old and younger there is a small amusement park named Prikazkite, offering over 30 attractions and other rides. A small bar looks over the rides and will allow parents to watch over their kids from afar.
In the park, there are many nice and inexpensive cafes.
During the tourist season the park has summer performances open to the public. At your hotel ask when these events are taking place, and you can enjoy the local culture for free, under the sky.
