The gallery was in a trading facility for its first 20 years. Today, it is in a building that used to be a synagogue.
Starting September 1966, the gallery moved to the old Burgas synagogue, a synagogue planned by the Italian architect Ricardo Toscani and built in 1909.
In the gallery are collections of art from over 50 Bulgarian artists. You can see sculptors, paintings, and different works of art by these artists, the special works can be experienced in nice rooms, with a view over the city of Burgas.
In addition to the permanent exhibits, there are temporary exhibits on different topics.
